Romi 1.2.1 (Rummy) This is a Cards Game Mactivity's CD-ROM nr 10 advice: This application did run on a b/w 68030 processor under System 7.1. It was also tested on a big ColorScreen of a PowerMacintosh running System 7.1.2. The game was also tested on a Quadra with 68040 processor and a 13 inch Color Screen and System 7.1 by Mactivity. The Romi game is played with two sets of 52 cards and with two free cards (two apple cards). The purpose of this game is to form groups of 3 or more cards, which contain either consecutive cards of the same suit or cards of the same number value but of differing suits. When you begin a new game, 14 cards are drawn randomly for the Mac and 14 for the player. The player opens his game by playing at least one group of 3 cards or more, using only the cards on his palette. The sum of those cards values must be 25 or more. After the player has opened the game, he can use the cards on the board to complete groups with cards on his palette. The player can move or reorganise all the cards on the board.
